Quality Assurance
Quality Control for Custom Card Printing
Quality control is managed throughout material inspection, printing, finishing, die-cutting, packing, and pre-shipment inspection.
QC Process
Inspection Stages
Our goal is to help buyers receive card products that match approved specifications and artwork requirements.
Raw Material Inspection
Paper weight, thickness, opacity, and surface are checked before printing.
Printing Color Control
Color bars, reference sheets, and Pantone matching are used to maintain consistency.
Die-Cutting Accuracy
Card size, shape, and rounded corners are measured against approved samples.
Surface Treatment Check
Matte, glossy, foil, spot UV, and embossing are inspected for defects and alignment.
Finished Product Sampling
Random sampling of card decks for artwork, color, finish, and packaging quality.
Packaging Inspection
Box structure, inserts, booklets, shrink wrap, and carton packing are verified.
Pre-Shipment Inspection
Final check of quantity, assortment, labels, and export cartons before shipment.
QC Checklist
Pre-Shipment Quality Checklist
Before each order leaves the factory, our team checks the following points.
- Artwork matches approved sample
- Color consistency across the deck
- Card size and thickness correct
- Finish and surface treatment clean
- Card count and order complete
- Packaging and labels correct
- Export cartons sealed and marked
Defect Prevention
Common Card Printing Risks We Check Before Shipment
Professional QC is not only finding defects at the end. It means identifying the points where color, cutting, finishing, assembly, and packaging can go wrong.
Color Drift
Approved samples, color bars, press checks, and reference sheets are used to compare bulk output during printing.
Off-Center Cutting
Die-cutting position, corner radius, and finished size are checked against sample cards and production specifications.
Missing or Mixed Cards
Deck assembly checks verify card order, card count, inserts, and mixed-version packing before final sealing.
Foil or Spot UV Misalignment
Special finish layers are checked before plate/tooling setup and inspected again during surface treatment.
Box and Artwork Mismatch
Card fronts, backs, boxes, booklets, barcode positions, and carton labels are checked as a complete set.
Export Packing Errors
Carton quantity, carton marks, shipping labels, and packing method are verified before handover to the forwarder.
Quality Standards
Controls That Reduce Production Risk
Quality checks are designed around the most common risks in card printing: color drift, inaccurate cutting, surface defects, missing cards, and packaging mismatch.
Material Traceability
Paper, PVC, ink, and packaging batches are checked before entering production.
Color Reference Control
Approved samples, color bars, and production sheets help align bulk output.
Final Export Inspection
Deck count, carton marking, packing method, and shipment labels are verified.
